Our History

A brief look at our journey

2002

A church begins

Early meetings took place in the Kobakian lounge room with a congregation of just 17. From the very beginnings the dream has been of a church that would feel like a family, a place for people to meet Jesus and discover the life of abundance He has for them.

2004

The church grows

Within weeks of starting, an opportunity arose to gather in rooms at the Coburg Town Hall, a venue the church soon outgrew. The church moved to Brunswick and then back to the main hall in the Coburg Town Hall.

2012

LifeHouse celebrates 10 years

Having outgrown the Coburg Town Hall, the church moved to afternoon services at Keilor. It was here that we celebrated our 10th birthday with 100’s of people whose lives had been impacted by Jesus and His church.

2015

LifeHouse purchases a building

LifeHouse steps into a new era as a permanent home is purchased in Westmeadows plus expands to take on a new campus in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. From this base of operations, we will be able to continue building the type of church which not only has influence in its local community, but also all around the world.
