LifeHouse Church was established in October 2002 under the leadership of Pastors Richard & Helen Kobakian.
“We felt the need to establish a church in the city of Moreland and provide the area with a church that was highly evangelistic and family orientated.”
Early meetings took place in the Kobakian lounge room with a congregation of just 17. Within weeks an opportunity arose to gather in rooms at the Coburg Town Hall, a venue the church soon outgrew. The church moved to Brunswick and then back to the main hall in the Coburg Town Hall.
In 2011, LifeHouse purchased a block of land in Camp Road, Broadmeadows and will soon begin construction of a brand new purpose built facility. Over 700 people are now connected to LifeHouse Church, with approximately 300-400 attending weekend services. Despite its rapid growth, LifeHouse Church has stayed true to its original mission and vision of connecting people to Jesus and His Church, creating passionate followers of Christ.
Lifehouse Church now meets every Sunday at 4.00pm at 80 Harrick Road Keilor Park.
