Hi Ps Linda, Thank you so much for sharing the Book of Proverbs with all of us. I was very inspired by all that has been written. So many, many Pearls of Wisdom and a great start to the new year 2012. So true, we have all been wired uniquely by GOD. I believe each and everyone of us is so very unique and creative, just like Our CREATOR. Yes, we have all been made in the image of Our GOD. To GOD be ALL the Glory, Honour and Praise, forever and ever, amen.

The following is a poem I have written while reflecting on Proverbs 31.

Have You Seen the Bride of CHRIST, Have You Seen Her in Your View ?
This I know that she will do

Daily she goes to Seek HIS Face
To Feel the Warmth of HIS Embrace
In The Secret Dwelling Place

She ALWAYS has JESUS in Her View
She Knows that ONLY HE can take the Old and Make it NEW

She gives Her Heart to JESUS
She Only has Eyes for HIM
She lays Her life down for the Kingdom
She lays Her life down for the KING
She is TOTALLY Surrendered to HIM in Everything

She is Raising Up Sons and Daughters, to do the work of the Kingdom
She is Raising Up Sons and Daughters, to do the work of the KING

So My Friend
When You Look For The Bride of CHRIST
ALWAYS Have This in View

This My Friend is The BODY of CHRIST
This My Friend is YOU

Well, the other day I had a friend post a comment on facebook about how she is tired of all the positive comments that people are posting! I found this an interesting thing to consider and wondered what kind of reflection it is of where this person currently is in life.

Personally, I do think that we need to be honest when we are having a bad day, but how much we choose to sit and ruminate in it is up to us. Somedays I choose to sit there longer than others, lol. Having said that - I am very grateful to be surrounded by so many people who not only choose to post their optimistic comments on facebook, but that they are actually truly optimistic people. I want this to be the type of person that I am and become more and more so I am going to keep surrounding myself with those people who continue to inspire me to look at things differently.
Thank you all for being in my world!

Ps Linda, your description made me hungry both for food and God's Word =) As food is take not just to satisfy our hunger but to give us pleasure, so does God's Word nourish, as well as refresh our mind, heart and spirit - as we meditate on it with much passion and great expectation!

This is such a WONDERFUL Testimony Ellen. How True, GOD is Transforming all of us into HIS IMAGE, from "Glory to Glory". I often say that certain situations and people are there to Help us Grow into the Likeness of Our Precious LORD JESUS. Could it be that certain people in our life are there to help us develop the fruit of the HOLY SPIRIT, like it is written in, Galatians chapter 5, verse 22 and 23, " But the Fruit of the Spirit is,"
" Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self control "

I am reminded of Ephesians chapter 5 verse 30, 31 and 32,
" For we are members of HIS Body, of HIS Flesh and of HIS Bones. "
" For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become ONE flesh."
" This is a Great Mystery, but I speak concerning CHRIST and the Church. "

I suppose then marriage is a Reflection of something Heavenly and HOLY, just like the Relationship between The LORD and HIS Church,
Ephesians chapter 5 verse 1 and 2, tells us to " Be Imitators of GOD " and to " Walk in LOVE ", I wonder if,
" Walking in Love ", could suggest we will come across those who will help us to do just that, in turn helping us to develop the Fruit of the HOLY SPIRIT in a Greater Measure.

The following is a Poem I have written about, UNITY. Inspiration from the Gospel of John chapter 17 verse 21,22,23,24

Brothers and Sisters
Sons and Daughters of The Living GOD
We are Bound to each other in Love
Through the Precious BLOOD of The SON
The Body of CHRIST is ONE

Like the Honey and The Bee
Like The Sand and The Sea
Like a Tapestry
We are to be in UNITY
Like The FATHER, SPIRIT, SON
Our Heart must be ONE

We are to Be in UNITY
We are to Be in Harmony
Just Like a Perfect Symphony

ONE HEART, Totally Surrendered to Heavens Authority
ONE VOICE, Heard with such a Clarity
ONE BODY, Moving with Powerful Destiny
ONE VISION, Focused on JESUS and ETERNITY
ONE HEART BEATING WITH A PASSION FOR THE SOULS OF HUMANITY

Brothers and Sisters in Harmony
We are of ONE BODY
We are of ONE BLOOD
We are of ONE SAVIOUR
OUR HEAVENLY FATHER FROM ABOVE

I DO BELIEVE - DON'T I?

The father instantly cried out, "I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!" Mark 9:24 NLT

Once when we were travelling in the car I noticed the fuel gauge worryingly low. Nervously I asked Ken whether we would make it to the next petrol station. He took a quick look and said "No worries" So we continued on, but I couldn't help but kep glancing at that gauge. I did trust his opinion because he know heaps about cars and I know nothing - but I couldn't help wondering if he had calculated correctly!!
I can relate to this father. Obviously he had seen or heard of the mircles of Christ and that's why he was there. His son needed a miracle and he believed that Jesus had the power - but there was an element of doubt holding him back from total confidence that it would happen. But to his credit, in his desperation, he did he did the only thing he could think of - he asked for Jesus to give him more faith, to remove any shred of doubt.

Maybe there's a key here! Maybe when we find ourselves asking for the seemingly impossible - we try asking first for God to remove any doubt -which allows us then to step into that place of trust and confidence in His power in our lives.

May I learn to trust more and believe beyond all doubt......

I remember this photo and find it ironic that the photographer was criticized for not doing more for this one child when on a bigger level he has brought so much awareness to so many people who not didn't help this child but who hardly dare to venture beyond the comfort zone of a first world country.

I don't begrudge someone deciding not to go to Africa or Asia or any other location where people clearly live well below the standard that we perceive to be minimally acceptable. I think if I actually fully embraced the need presented by the numbers living in these countries that I would be completely overwhelmed. I'm sure many others would also feel this way, and once your eyes are open it is very hard to close them.

Regardless of going or not, there is an epidemic that collectively we CAN have an impact on. How to do that? That is something where we each need to analyze our own situation and decide how to get involved. Amazingly, a small change on our part makes a huge difference. I haven't officially added it up, but I'd estimate I spend $50 a month and possibly even up to $100 plus. What would change in my life if for at least a year I didn't drink coffee and have that money to an organization out there on the ground looking after those in Africa? Hmmm, how do you think you can help?

This is very true, and the other challenge to beleiving is to trust in God's perfect timing, which seems to be often delayed to create in us greater depth of character and knowing God more intimately, which results in God granting us much more than we dared ask or hope for!!

Mark 8:33 “Jesus turned around and looked at His disciples, then reprimanded Peter, “Get away from me, satan!” he said. “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

Years ago we took our five children on a holiday to Queensland to visit with friends and of course check out the theme parks. The kids loved the theme parks and still remember the exhilarating rides, the great water slides and the amazing mini-worlds that had been created there. All in all they had a fun-filled time and thought that theme parks were the answer to every kid’s dream! Towards the end we paid for a trip on a helicopter that took us up above the parks and out over the surrounding areas. We could see so much more – all the activity and busyness of the theme parks - but also the countryside and the coastline around them. Suddenly our environment changed (my kids were in awe!)and what we had encountered on the ground in the parks now only occupied a very small part of the enormous horizon which was now ours! Our perspective was a little different!

Jesus is telling Peter not that he was demon-possessed but rather he was hearing things about Jesus’ coming death and resurrection and only understanding from a human aspect. And if he was doing this then he was seeing the worldly point of view (which is ruled by satan) and not God’s point of view. How often do we fall for this ourselves? When God calls us or challenges us or stretches us in any area of our lives – do we think that maybe I can’t do this? I’m too old, too young, too uneducated, too untalented, too poor, too busy, too afraid! Maybe we should change our perspective, grab onto God’s perspective and let Him lead and equip us! Maybe if we reminded ourselves that it’s not so much about us - but more about Him enabling us we would find our point of view changed and that the ride in the theme parks was nothing in comparison to the ride high above them!

May I look for the better point of view, the higher point of view – God’s point of view!
